EU Customer Rights
This page applies to customers located in the European Union (EU). As an EU customer, you are entitled to specific rights under EU consumer protection law. Please read the following carefully.
1. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return Right)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. If the 14-day period ends on a weekend or public holiday, the deadline extends to the next business day.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you can sign in to your account and submit a return request directly from your order, or contact us with your order number and a clear statement of your decision to withdraw.
Once we receive your withdrawal request:
- You must return the item within 14 days of notifying us.
- Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.
- A flat return shipping fee of USD $5.00 will be deducted from your refund.
- A restocking fee of 10% of the item value will be deducted from your refund.
- We will refund the remaining amount, including standard outbound shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of return — whichever comes first.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to items that are clearly personalised, sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once opened, or digital content once download has begun.
2. Customs, Duties & VAT
Wantafy is based in Australia and ships internationally. We are not currently registered for the EU Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme.
For orders shipped to the European Union, import duties and VAT may be collected by your local customs authority upon delivery. These charges are determined by your country's customs regulations and are not included in the product price or shipping fee charged at checkout.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for any applicable customs fees, import duties, or VAT charges imposed by your country upon delivery. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order.
For orders valued under €150, VAT is typically collected at the point of import. For orders above €150, additional customs duties may also apply.
3. Conformity of Goods
Under EU Directive 2019/771/EU, goods must conform to the contract of sale. If your item is defective, damaged, or does not match the description at the time of delivery, you are entitled to a remedy. Please contact us within a reasonable time of discovering the issue.
4. Your GDPR Data Rights
If you are located in the EU, you have the following rights regarding your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure: You can request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal obligations.
- Right to data portability: You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object: You can object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes at any time.
- Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us within 5 business days via any of the methods below and we will respond promptly.
